Early Life
Ladi Katrina was born on February 16, 1975. She is an American gospel singer and is known for her anointed “Shundo” sounds and her radiant role in the local ministries in the southern state of Louisiana. Katrina L.S. Henderson-Mason began her ministry journey at the age of three in a small church in Mooringsport, La. As a teenager, she began to cultivate her gift through serving as Minster of Music, songwriter, psalmist, actress, Evangelist, and a lover of God’s people.
Musical Accomplishments
Ladi Katrina found and organized the young ministry, Ri’U (Relatives in Unity) of Shreveport, Louisiana. She served as International Minister of Music of the New Heart Global Ministry Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri. She has participated in local Shreveport plays entitled, “Cadillac’s Spare Tire” and “It’s Morning”.
Collaborations
She served as a background singer for national recording artist Elder Joseph Lindsey. Ladi Katrina opened several events for many artists such as Bright Star Male Chorus, Legendary Dorothy Norwood, Earnest Pugh, Kim Burrell, Dorinda Clark- Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, and many others. The anointed “Shundo” sounds of Ladi Katrina has spread from the Southern state of Texas to the North-eastern state of Maryland.
Forever Growing
This young wife and mother has yet to completely explore the blessing that God has destined for her life. Katrina continues to show love to her friends because she never meets a stranger. Ladi Katrina has “A Voice with A Message”. She strives to please God by serving his people with the gift of music and a word of encouragement. Her favorite statement is “A promise is a promise and I’m holding on to the promise”.
